The proliferation of web-based resources for educators is both exciting and daunting. While there is clearly and expanding amount of materials available via the web, the ease with which educators can find the right materials has not improved. This paper presents a systematic study of web-based resources that have been identified as valuable to educators. An analysis of these resources will identify common characteristics that are indicative of utility for educators.
